Lost e-mail messages.

Hi My colleague has outlook 2000 on his laptop and Outlook 2003 on his
network pc at work [where the emails are stored] He tried to synchronize his
laptop and pc and now has all of the e-mails downloaded to his laptop hard
drive but not on the server. Why did this happen and is there a way of
getting them back onto the server?

The reason for this is a setting in his laptop Outlook program.

In Outlook 2000>Tools>Accounts>Properties>Advanced tab>
CHECK "Leave a copy of message on server".

He may be able to get them back on the server by e-mailing them all back to
himself.
