lost heavy ppt document, my own stupidity, but have all the converted to html
files but i need to open and update the presentation or edit for improvements
and cannot open html in ppt so is there a way to do it? there is a lot of the
custom animation in it so the programs that i have that can import the html
leave all that behind and only give me static pages without the ppt fluff.
can you tell me if there is a way to do this..or am i doomed to the drawing
board again?

Why can't you open HTML in PowerPoint? Just use File | Open, navigate to the
HTML file and select it. You may need to specify "all files" in the "open
files of type" box in the Open dialog.

Then use File | Save As and save the file as a PPT file.
