Lost Desktop Icons

Hi I have a user who seems to have lost all of there desktop Icons. My
Computer Recycle bin, Network all of them.

Is explorer running?

Right click on the Desktop, select Active Desktop and enable Show Desktop Icons.

Yes it is running. I have the Menu Bar at the bottem but no Icons

Hmmm.... Check:

Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Key: Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
Name: HideIcons
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0

If there togle value 0 or 1.

Could be somewhere else in policies? Look for "HideIcons" or
"NoDesktop" in hkcu or hklm hives.

Nope That is already checked. I will check the reg next.
