Running XP Pro w/ SP2
Came to computer yesterday, and noticed the clock was
no longer in the Systray.
I rebooted. No good.
I did a System Restore, went back 4 days, no help.
Any help would be appreciated.

Right click on the task bar and go to properties and see if Show the Clock
is ticked. If it is, untick it and apply. Go back and tick it and apply. If
it isn't ticked, well, tick it and apply.

Alias

If you right click on the systray and bring up the properties you'll see an
option to "Show Clock".

Hi Paul

In addition to the other responses -

There's a group policy in XP Pro to disable the clock. If it's enabled,
your Taskbar Properties "Show the clock" checkbox will be grayed out. If
this is the case, go to:

Start -> Run -> gpedit.msc -> User Configuration -> Administrative
Templates -> Start Menu and Taskbar

Then, in the right pane, make sure the "Remove Clock from the system
notification area" setting is not enabled.
