lost bookmarks

Had an unexpected power outage and the computer shut down
When I started it up, my bookmarks were gone and I had to totally reset my preferences for Netscape 7.
Is there any way to recover my bookmarks? Funny, but my address book was ok..

Your Netscape Bookmarks are gone?
Have you searched your entire PC (with advanced options on) for
"bookmark.htm"?
(I think that is what Netscape stores it as.. As it is not a MS product and
not the best browser in my opinion.. heh Neither is IE, but that's another
story.)

re-load your backup copy of the bookmarks..you did make a backup copy.....

If you cannot find the file bookmark.htm in your computer, try
importing the IE favorites from within Netscape 7.1, in case you use
both browsers and the favorites are somewhat similar.
