I'd set the security that could open attachments.
But I still could not received attachment sometime. if someone send me two
emails with attachment, parhaps one could be received with attachment, one
could be received without attachment? Why?
And how to solve?

Does it make any difference whether those emails were sent with Outlook?

Does it make any difference what the part of the attachment file name
starting with the last period is?

When you can't see the attachment, do you at least see a paperclip near
the upper right corner of the message?

I have a similar problem and can or cannot receive attachments from various sources. Did this get resolved?

I am not saying that it isn't Windows Mails fault, but you may want to check
with your ISP. Many ISP's have started blocking certain types of
attachments.

Since I have Comcast - if there is a problem with Microsoft Mail - should the
problem dissappear if I use Comcast web site to receive my mail?

If the mail was sent from Outlook using Outlook's RTF format then Outlook
Express will never find the attachment. Outlook Express does not understand
Outlook's RTF format. Ask the Outlook user to please use Plain Text,
especially when sending attachments.
