Lost all executables

I lost all of my executables due to some sort of
virus/worm this moring. I can get on the internet, but
cannot get to e-mail. I don't even know what this thing
is to look for a fix. Help!

How can you get on the internet, or for that matter do anything with your
computer, without executables?
1) Install *all* windows update patches.
2) Use good antivirus protection.
3) Consider getting a firewall (or enabling WinXP's ICF)
