Lost administrator privileges

I am running XP Pro and somehow I lost privileges for all mu administrator
accounts, even for the defailt one. Whenever I try to install anew program I
receive an error stating I do not have sufficient rights and shold try
rerunning with administrator login. I have tried everything but reinstalling
Windows and nothing seems to work,

Use System Restore to return to a point prior to when this problem
became apparent.

Thank you.
I thought of that and gave it some try, but apparently the problem might
have hapened some time ago and there are many restore points from then
(october) ntil now.
Could it be that I changed the Computer name?
