lost ablity to click links in e-mail messages

Outlook 2003, no new programs, no new configurations, no new firewalls or
pop-up blockers. Ran spybot and adaware. I had all this before and I used to
just click the link in the e-mail to go to any website. Now even CTL+cick
doesn't work. What happened?
