E-mail link in outlook opening Yahoo e-mail in IE

Hello,

I have a friend running Vista and Office 2007. I remoted into their
computer - set outlook to be the default e-mail program in Outlook in
options and also in IE. before Yahoo would also open in IE when clicking a
mail link on a web page - now it only happens when clicking on a mail link
in outlook. I'm not sure what needs to change but I want it to use outlook
for all e-mail.

The only reason I'd think IE would be opening Yahoo mail is that the Yahoo
toolbar has an override for mailto settings, much like the Google toolbar.

Thanks - I can't find any yahoo products installed strangely enough -

If you hover over the url, does the url look correct? Just a standard mailto:user@domain?

What happens if you put a mailto link in a word doc and click there?
