When I shut down my computor, my clock and date go back to the same time
every time I restart. Feb. 8, 1999. That must be when this old computor was
made. It keeps time when I change it and work on it. Just when I shut it
down fot the night and start up the next day.
Please someone tell me what to do?

Maybe the battery on the motherboard that runs the clock is dead and needs
replaced.

Time to replace your battery.

Here's the key item:
Write down all system BIOS settings
A paper record of your CMOS setup is always a good thing to have.
