Loss of customized transitions when saved as webpage

Hi,

I have a presentation w/ some animation etc, and when I save it as an html
file, the behavior of much of the animation changes or simply disappears.
This gets seemingly more pronounced when I post it to our server (an Apache
Unix server).

Is there any way to preserve the transitions and have them maintain their
functioning when I save the presentation as an html and post to the web or is
that just the way it goes?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts/help,

Henry

By and large, I don't think the server type is an issue, but the browser may be.
Unless it's MSIE 5 or 6, you won't be able to see all that the HTML from PPT can
do.

And even at that, animations tend to be a bit jerky compared to how they look in
PPT natively.
