losing window as I move from quick launch to desktop

Hi, Something strange is happening to me recently. Not always but many times
when I try to move my pointer from quick launch to the desktop to clic a
function on any open window on the desktop, they dissapear until I come back
to quick launch then they reappear again whatever window is active at the
moment. I don't know where to start. Help needed

I forgot to mention that I have to clic the tab in quick launch to get the
little window (like pop up window from microsoft that appear to Ok something
or other program too) appear again on desktop. I have also realized now that
if I am quick enough to reach the open window on the desktop with my pointer
the window would not dissapear. Very strange . Now of course when the window
is taking the full screen there is no trouble to reah it with the pointer so
these ones usually stay open. I have no clue where to look for. I have
reinstall my browser, checked my mouse setting but no success yet.

Ok found it now , it was my nvidia desktop manager with the switch "
activate window under cursor" on . I checked it off and back to normal . Wow
that was a tough one, lots of control on that manager.
