Losing Internet explorer history

I seem to lose intermittently my Internet Explorer history information. Up
until a week ago it displayed the 21 days as per Tools/Internet options. It
is currently displaying upto two/three days and then midway through the day
it loses any detail. I am using Ccleaner with Internet history unchecked and
there has not been a problem with this programme that I am aware of since its
installation. Does anyone have any thoghts on waht might be the cause?

hi, click on tools, internet options, click advanced tab, scroll down and
uncheck- empty temp internet files folder when browser is closed. hope this
helps.

Thanks for replying, but empty temp internet files is already unchecked.

Still a problem in that I lose the history content during the day without
semingly anything happening to cause it. iI would welcome any thoughts
whatsoever.
