Losing font size

Hello,
If this is not the appropriate newsgroup for this post, please let me
know.

I am trying to paste document A in an empty document B. Document A is
based on a template and has frames with text in them. The text font is Arial
and size is 10. When I paste the document A into document B, the text size
of the frame goes from 10 to 12 but the font remains Arial. Everything else
in the document remains the same even though there are other locations in
the document where the different font size is used for Arial. The only place
where text size changes is within frames.

I would really appreciate for any input.

What style is applied to the text in the frames? Does the same style exist
in both documents, and is it defined differently in the two documents?
