Losing default printer

Have a 2000 AD network with 2000-pro clients. Machines are randomly losing
the default printer. It will then default to the Document Imaging printer.
I don't know for sure, but I believe it defaults to that driver because it's
the first in the list alphabetically.

Seems to be no rhyme or reason to it happening. Can happen without the
machine being restarted.

Temporary workaround is to delete the Document Imaging printer as most users
only have one printer. Not a satisfactory solution however.

It will lose the default when it becomes unavailable for whatever reason and
switch to whatever else in installed in Printers. If you do not use the
Document Imaging Printer, you can disable or uninstall it.
