Lose slides when opening in PPT 2003

When I open a certain presentation (saved in PPT2000)on
another machine running PPT2003, several of the slides
lose their content. Others are fine.
The PPT 2003 machine is a Dell Latitude 505 Laptop.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is no Service Pack 2 for Office 2003. You must mean SP2 for Windows XP.
Open PowerPoint 2003 and go to Help > About and it will tell you the full
PowerPoint version number including the SP number, if any.

there is NO SP2 for Office 2003 yet (are they talking about Windows?).
Please have them check within OFFICE 2003, which SP is installed there.
