LOP false alarm

T

Tony

For one user on my XP Home system, MS AntiSpyware reports
that we've been infected with LOP every time they log on.
Even though we click the button to remove lop, it still
complains every time they log on. This only happens with
one user. I have done a full scan with antispyware - as
well as adaware and spybot.

Any ideas how to stop this?

regards

Hi

Try this:

Download/install Ccleaner wich removes "junk" within
temporarily files.

http://www.ccleaner.com

Restart in safe mode, press F8 during reboot/restart.

- Log in to the user account with problem.

- Run CCleaner. Ccleaner can then be used within every
account to clear out all "junk" within a PC.

- Run MSAS, Fullscan.

- Restart in normal mode.

Full system scan can be found on the Scan Page under Scan Options > Full
System Scan.
