Bodhi - you can download a normal ring if there isnt - whack it on the phone as an MP3 and set that as ringtone.

Custom message tones aswell.

And yes - it is a fully functional MP3 player with upgradeable memory card (Sony Memory Stick Micro)

Hmmmm, interesting. So you have actually got this phone Chris then? Ive been looking on the net and the Nokia's arn't getting the best writeups.

So, the SE is easy to use? MP3 player. Great camera and screen. But, does it look cool and easily fit into a pocket!! :)

See the pictures in my 1st post - its by far in my opinion the best looking phone on the market!!

SE's are generally dead easy to use - joystick goes up down left and right and push it in for select - how much easier can it be?

Yeah they fit into pocket :)

Nokia have gone downhill spending all their time on trying to release a zillion new models that look good. They forgot about the rest. Apart from the N91 is meant to be good... but thats more of a PC than a phone.

I'm taking notes here :)

I'm gonna negotiate a new contract in Decemeber when contract runs out or I may just phone Orange and tell 'em I'm poxed off with them and see what they say.

It would seem the solution is to threaten to leave - so be it.

I've been 10 years with Orange, it would appear I could have done better.

As for phones, I had Nokia for 7 years, thought they were good, had Sony Ericcson for a year - worst bloody phone I've ever owned, and Samsung D500 for almost two years - best phone I've ever used, imo.

I quite fancy the Samsug D600. I have a camera, I have an I-Pod, so I only really interested in phone features, nowt else.

Oh, and I absolutely hate flip-tops, too fragile, too inconvenient, I prefer the Samsung's 'slide open' feature.

Just my preference, nowt else :)

Which SE was it you had?

The early ones were bad.

Yeah just call them up and tell them you quit.

The New SE is superior to the newer Samsungs in my opinion...

Twas a 610 I think. Didn't look right, didn't feel right and worst thing of all was it couldn't be prgrammed beyond four rings before cutoff. Was I ever glad to get rid of that POS :(

In which way is the new SE superior to the Samsung D600 then?

As mentioned earlier, I not interested in mp3 or camera, so forget that side of things.

In what ways is it superior?

Well i prefer the looks, and the SE has a fantastic predictive text input system.

You can set your own ringtones from MP3s etc etc and its generally better - but thats my opinion.

Hey if you like the Samsung - get that one :)

I have my SE 750i, good fone. Due for an upgrade next week :D

Chris out of curiosity. At first didnt you get the phone free when you signed up 11months ago?

If you did then surely you get the next free depending on the model?

I do, every year!

Must admit, in ten years, I've never paid for a phone.

Which is one thing I like about monthly contracts.
