I had a very very simple little webserver that was specifically to display
portions of the file system of windows PC (inc win98) over http. Can't
remember what is was. Anyone help?

It wasn't a full webserver, and it wasn't and ftp server. (I know I can get
one of those to do a similar job... ;-))

TIA

Having spent hours looking for it last night, I found it after 5 mins of

HTTP server designed for file transfer. Very easy to use, just drag&drop
your files in it. It automatically copies in the clipboard the full url
of the file, so you just have to paste in your preferred chat.
Standalone executable.
