hi, i am looking for a piece of software that will help me clean up my
desktop.

i need it to move all files from my desktop on a scheduled basis to
another disk on the computer. it must move directories as well as
files, and preferably have the ability to exclude selected
directories.

anyone know of something that fits the bill.

the closest i have found so far is second copy 2000 but that leaves
behind empty directories so its not quite what i want.

thank you

I'd use sendTo in rt-clk & hold down shift so they r
moved, not copied. Have to add ptr to drive/folder in
sendTo.

U can do it in Desktop folder which is easier using CTL
& SHIFT keys to select multiple entries.

May not fit ur needs 4 automation. Cant imagine this
scheme taking more than 3 mins tho.

Any advice given is my attempt to show appreciation for all
the excellent help I've received here but I'm no MVP so it
may only apply NUGS. Personal attacks, nitpicking & criticism
of anything but content will NOT be responded to. Those
posters should spend their time taking the test @
