Looking for screensaver

Hi, gang! Does anyone happen to know of a good fractal or psychedelic
screen saver in which the patterns change to keep pace with MY music
files, not just to built-in background music. Back in the days of
Windows 3.1, there were several (am I giving away my age?)

GEISS Screensaver, is nice,
sound-reactive eye candy for your computer.

how about.....
SYNAESTHESIA for Windows
Version 1.2

This is a program for representing sounds visually (from a CD or line
input). It goes beyond the usual oscilliscope style program by
combining
an FFT and stereo positioning information to give a two dimensional
display. Some of the shapes I have observed are:
* Drums: clouds of color, fairly high
* Clean guitar: several horizontal lines, low down
* Rough guitar: a cloud, low down
* Trumpet: Lots of horizontal lines everywhere
* Flute: A single horizontal line, low down
* Voice: A vertical line with some internal structure

How about v1.52b Dazzle itself?? It's the 2d engine for the full
retail "Razzle Dazzle 3D"

I own a copy of the Razzle Dazzle 3D software and also the video :)

Cheers!

You could also try to dig the tool shack (check particularly their VJ
software downloads and information area...) at
http://www.audiovisualizers.com/

BiP

Tried your pointers, BiP, with mixed results. The audiovisualizers
site was really interesting, but the shroomery page was just a
compilation of dead links! BTW, I did find my old Razzle/Dazz/e
saver(s). Than Q
