London Marathon

It's that time of year again, where I'm trapped within my road, can't drive anywhere until the Marathon passes on and they open the road again. It passes about 100 metres from my front door.

Here's some pictures, there's a fella of 101 years old running this year

I would hazard a guess he's a non-smoker

I don't actually care for the Marathon myself so didn't even go take a look, I'm not a great fan of sports I'm afraid.

I can understand the spirit though and I guess it's a good thing, all in all

That 101 year old guy is brilliant He always seems to be on the news! On his training for the marathon he kept on stopping off for a pint

It must be pretty fun having a bit event like that on your doorstep

How long do you think your cat (edit, I mean car!) will be stuck for, just a couple of hours?

I remember last year it was noon before I could get out of here. I wasn't going anywhere in my car today so it didn't bother me.

No sign it was ever there right now, apart from a few crowd control barriers.
