I created a user ID through the Security Wizard, but know I want to take it
off and be able to run access without the Logon. how can I take it off? I
deleted everything that ends in .mdw.

After you "deleted everything that ends in .mdw" are you still getting a
logon prompt when you attempt to open Access?

Access security is quite complicated. You will get no-where quickly, by
trying things at random, as you are clearly doing.

Once you've got back to normal, try obtaining a detailed list of
instructions, and follow it to the letter - adding and omitting
nothing. For example, the Access Security FAQ, often referenced in this
newsgroup.
