logon to domain

Hi All,

Is there no way to change the way i have to logon to a domain using a
windows vista workstation.

I am tired of typing each time domainname\username. With XP I only had
to type username. the domain was in a drop down box.

Add the computer to the domain as well then you will be given the usual
three field login username password domain
 
If all else fails, you could try to "Read The Manual" or Help Files
