A couple of months ago i downloaded a custom logon screen, and used
this Logon Loader program to install it. Then in the following weeks,
whenever I tried to boot the computer it would stop responding either
right before windows loaded, right after windows loaded, right after i
logged on, or sometimes 30 minutes after i logged on.

I'm not sure if the logon screen was the cause for this but today my
computer did this automatic disk cleanup thingy, and it deleted the
logon screen or maybe something necessary to load it. Instead of
showing the welcome screen, a window pops up that says "This
application has failed to start because LSASRV.dll was not found.
Reinstalling the application may fix this problem." After the OK button
is clicked then i'm left with a black screen and a cursor and I can't
log in. How can I fix this?

You might try booting to safe mode, then using system restore to go back
those few months.

You might also be able to logon long enough to run restore or remove
offending programs by booting up to the point that you get the error (before
logging on) and pressing Ctrl_Alt_Delete twice. This should force the
display of the classic logon screen.

If Shawn's advice doesn't work, go to Logon Loader's home page and download
the Author's Logon Screen "fix" to a floppy.
You have to enable floppy usage in Recovery console (Google on How To), then
run the floppy's ".exe" from the recovery console to get the original Windows
Logon Screen back.

I tried both of those a few times with no results.
I can't log in through safe mode because the same problems occur.
What I really need to know is how to log in in order to fix stuff.
