Logon question

I have XP Pro and when I type in my password it will load
my personal settings and then return me to the sign on
screen. This happens with the admin account as well as
mine.

Any suggestions?

I have a similar issue with my XP Home.

I use the fast user switching with the Welcome screen and
no passwords.

However, I just installed the XP SP1 and the security
patches andnow if I try and switch users it looks like it
will try to logon then comes back to the welocme sceen.

When I go to the security event log it logged it as a
successful logon.

I wonder if this is releated somehow.

Think this has anything to do with IPSec at all?

I had similar problems with XP Pro at work after we
changed from one Anti Virus provider to another. It
seemed that the auto start services from both peices of
software were still trying to start up and conflicted.
Could something similar be happening with your systems?
