I have a Compaq PC with win 2K, When powering on PC it will logon but I don't have access to the network, When I reboot I have access. What could cause this and how do I fix it.
Presuming you're using AD, make sure that all servers and workstations
specify *only* the internal AD-integrated DNS server's IP address in their
network settings. The AD-integrated DNS server should be set up with

If that doesn't answer your question, pls. post details of any errors you
see in your system/app event logs....
