logon logoff loop

I have recently removed some Blazefind malware and am now unable to logon. I
have read a suggestion saying to enter the recovery console using the CDROM
and to copy the userinit.exe wsaupdater.exe. Unfortunately Windows XP was
preinstalled on my system and I have no Windows XP CDROM or floppy boot disk.
I do have the restore CDROMs but am hesitant to use them. Is there another
way?

i have the same problem, and dont want to restore. i tried with those discs,
but it takes me to the options to run system restore, exit, or go to
ediagtools. Is it something like only restoring to a certain point? if so,
how much will i lose?
