Logon error message when you logon to the server via terminal serv

We have a Windows 2000 based application server(oracle based) under Windows
2003 Active Directory domain. I was informed by my colleagues that the server
is up and running and he can logon to the system via SQL but we cannot log
onto the system via either terminal service or remote desktop. The error
message is like this:' You do not have access to logon to this session' But
two sessions are obviously available as I checked from the terminal service
manager. Another considerable points are that I cannot logon to the target
server by network drive mapping. It seems to me that this machine has lost
the security credentials.. Any idea? Thank you. M.U

I've gotten the 'You do not have access to logon to this session' message
when the credentials I'm logging in with are not a member of that server's
administrators group. We routinely add our domain server administrators
group to the local administrators group of each server (e.g
xyzdomain\serveradmins)
