I have sysprepped an HP XW4300 conputer using the original OEM image. I have
done older models without any problem. My problem is with an AutoAdminLogon
key in the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon area
of the registry. It defaults to a value of 1, and upon reboot and running
the MS setup, I get a logon error because this key is set 1 and the unit
tries to auto logon with a blank password. Since the passowrd is not blank
the error comes up. I have tried deleting this key, setting it to 0, and
even requiring the CTRL+ALT+DEL keys to be pushed, but sysprep resets all of
this and causes the error.

If I leave the administrator pwd blank and sysprep it, all will work well.
However, if I change the pwd and reboot I will get the error.

Since this is an HP machine they are using an OEM version of Win XP Pro w/
SP2.

Any thoughts? I can provide more detail if needed.
