When I wake up my computer after inactivity and go to logon to any account,
it will let me click on the account, but after that, it will freeze up on the
window before it goes into regular desktop. Does anyone know what the problem
might be with my computer and how to fix it. I will love you forever if you
help me. Thank you.

might be a screensaver..if you have one, try setting it to none and see if
the problem persists.

Thanks y'all. I feel like a dirty whore now that I have to love both of you
forever. I will see if it works.

Well, I would like to know is your computer connected to LAN?
If it is connected to LAN, may be you need to go to device manager and
select properties of your network card and select power managment. Make sure
Allow the computer to trun off this device to save power option is unchecked.

If not connected to LAN go to control panel and select power options and
make sure turn off hard disks is set to never.
Hope this will solve this issue.
