logitech webcam wont install requires service pack 2

help please i have just bought a logitech quickcam to operate on windows xp
which has service pack 2 installed. everything ok until webcam is plugged in
and asks for file 'usbccgp.sys' on service pack 2 cd. have copy of cd from
microsoft xp magazine but nothing on it - what now?

Hey there ... First off , Do you have an windows xp cd disc ?? And from what
I understand your computer has windows xp with service pack 2 install ?? If
you put your windows xp disc in your optical drive ( CD ROM ) when it ask
for the 'usbccgp.sys' file , what happen next ??

I would also suggest trying a Windows Update to see if you can find a driver
update for ur camera.

It's almost never a good idea to get driver updates from windows update.
Get those from the manufacturer's web site.
