Logitech G5 Laser mouse/ Samsung monitor UW 225

Two yellow question marks show up in the hardware manager with the following
text: Other devices: Logitech HID Device and Logitech Pointing Device.
In addition the G5 mouse is correctly shown under the item :Mice. When
starting the computer, the first screen shows "2 mice", however only one is
installed.
It seems that the question mark items are in conflict with the built in
camera in my monitor SamsungUW225. This camera is not recognized, Samsung
experts indicate that the Logitech mouse is in conflict with the correct
functioning of the camera.
How can I remove the above two items marked with a yellow question mark? Why
are "2 mice" shown when starting the computer? How can I initiate the built
in camera? Grateful for any help. Best regards. rfh

Of course Samsung says it's Logitech's fault. And If you call Logitech,
they'll probably say it's the Samsung camera conflicting with their mouse.
Just the way it is. . .

Which did you have first, the mouse or the camera? If the mouse, try
uninstalling the SetPoint (name?) program and hooking up a standard mouse
as a test. Reboot and see if the camera is working correctly. If not, it's a
camera problem. If it is working, then try re-installing the Logitech
software and see if you get the same conflict. If the mouse software does
cause a conflict, then you may need to go through the settings in device
manager and try to manually set whatever the conflict is, be it IRQ, memory
address, or whatever. It's not that you need to remove the 2 items, it's
that the proper drivers are needed for them.

How many USB ports does your PC have? It could be that both the
Logitech G5 mouse and the Webcam might be using the same USB root
hub. If too much "power" is requested over the USB root hub, then
this problem might occur. Try changing USB ports (in hopes of
getting a different root hub) or try a powered USB hub.
