Login's are not in the domain

I constructed a new computer and got winXP w/ SP2 embedded into it. I
installed it, partitioned the HD into two parts a C and D drive I installed
it into the C drive. Went through the whole start up process and set up. Then
when I get to the login screen I try to get in and I get a message saying
that the domain can not be found or contacted. How can I get in? Don't work
in safe mode either.
