hi all

i do not have the worm problem.

however when i try to log on to the WIN-NT 4.0 Domain
with my XP Pro, i get the following message.

Logon Message
Windows cannot connect to the domain, either because the
domain controller is down or otherwise unavailable, or
because your computer account was not found. Please try
again later.

the domain controller is not down
the domain controller is available
computer account is created on the DC
all network configuration on the XP machine is correct.
other OSs can log on, only XP cannot.
PDC is NT 4.0 SP 6

if i use the same machine on a differen Domain, it is
able to connect.

any ideas?

thanks

It sound that there is a problem with your domain controller. Have you
tried removing your account on the DC and creating the XP machine account
again and rebooting your domain controller?
