Hi,
I did chabge from domain back to workgroup and after the reboot I can't log
on anymore I think the login is still pointing to the domain setup but the
domain service is not runing anymore. the message is wrong user name,
password or domain name. Is there a possability to recover this situation?
Thanks for any help Werner

By changing the computer from the domain to a workgroup, you have
destroyed the trust between the domain and the machine. In doing so,
you have also rendered your domain login credentials as invalid. You
need to be physically connected to the domain network, you need to have
administrative privileges to the workstation, and you need to have
administrative privileges on the domain. Then you can add the machine
back on to the domain, after having first deleted the computer's old
domain account (unless you've also renamed the computer).

Alternatively, log in using the built-in Administrator account and
create a new, local user account for your daily use.

Thaks for your replay,
But the problem is that I can not log on to my PC anymore, I do have the
Administrators password for the domain and the local one as well but it looks
as if there is a probleme between the two logins. So I may have to reinstall
the OS?
What du you think?

You have both local and DOMAIN admin access and you can't figure out how
to login to a computer????

Please, go ahead and reinstall the OS, that'll be a few hours where you
can't do any damage anywhere else.
