What is the syntax to specify the domain and login to a
win2000 machine?

If the computer is a member of the domain then you just select it from the
drop down list on the log-in screen (after hitting Options >>>). If the
computer isn't a domain member yet, then a local administrator needs to join
it to the domain (it will ask for a domain admin's credentials as well)
