Login Script Problems

Jordy

I am trying to configure the login scripts to use a
generic one for all staff called staff.bat. The problem I
am having is all stations keep trying to run the script
from c:\scripts\staff.bat. If I blank out the login
script entry under user properties in the AD, it still
gives the error in event viewer that the
c:\scripts\staff.bat cannot be found? I checked the
policies and there is no entry of logon script? Any ideas
or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

When you enter your logon script name, what do you enter in AD users and
computers ? You could also use group policies for logon scripts. You create
a OU and move user accounts there, next create a GPO linked to that OU (see
OU properties/Group Policy tab). In GPO see User Configuration/Windows
Settings/Scripts.
