Login Problem, ? Domain ?

I thought I posted this, but it never showed up, (sorry for a second post, if
it shows up)
I turned off my laptop and the next time I turned it on it tells me that it
can't log me into the domain, even in safe mode - Administrator. What can I
do? What can I change in the registry so that it will login to a workgroup
instead of a Domain?
ANY help would be appreciated.

First - why is your computer a member of a Domain and where are those who
joined it to said domain?

To my knowledge this was always connected to a workgroup. So I don't
understand this message. I do need to fix this, that is my firsy concern.
