login password

I changed login passwordS but it won't recognize the new
password. Now I can't use my computer all. Can someone
please help me?
 
If you're running XP Pro, press CTRL-ALT-DEL twice at the Welcome Screen.
Enter Administrator, and any password that you may have set on this account
during setup (if you set a password on it). Now you can use the
Administrator account to change the other account's password.

If you're running XP Home, you'll have to boot to Safe Mode to access the
built in Administrator account.
