I recently updated my Windows XP critical updates from
the Microsoft website. When I rebooted, my computer asks
me for the password (normal) starts to log me in, the
immediately logs me out. Any body got any help on this?
I can't get back in to windows. Not even under safe
mode. I've tried Last Known Good Configuration as well.
No dice.

I am having the same problem with outlook express.

After I loaded the updates it has required me to logon
but won't accept my login or password. I haven't been
able to send/receive email for 2 days. I can't contact
anyone to get help. If anyone out there reads these,
HELP!

I have recently encountered the same problem. Has anyone come up with a
fix, short of blowing everything away and reinstalling from scratch?
