Login Failure missing user account names

Hallo Expert,

I have a problem in my active directory on a Windows 2000
PDC. Although the user names are available, the login
account name is missing. Placing back a system state does
not improve matters and placing the account name back
manually also does not work.

This happened after a failure of the server after which a
restart was nessecary. Does anyone knows how to solve this
matter?

Can you post the exact error you are getting when logging to your domain ?
This happens on your workstations ? Are you pointing your DNS settings on
your servers/clients to the internal DNS server ? Can you logon to your
server with admin account. See EventLog for possible errors.
