logging on to windows\system 32

Help,
when I first log onto my computer my start page comes on
and then the windows\system 32 opens. How can I stop
this window from opening? I;m running XP home edition.

What you want to do is you want to load up your machine
goto start menu/all programs/startup and see if you have a
internet explorer shortcut in that folder if you do del it
if not then goto your start menu/run then in the prompt
type in msconfig. then what you want to do is goto startup
tab and find the command that is starting up internet
explorer and uncheck the box on the left hand side
corrosponding to that command. restart your computer and
when you restart it you will have a message stating you
changed the windows configuration utilities just click do
not show me this message again and that should take care
of your problem
