Logging off.

Please can someone help, Quite often when a user logs off to go back to the
welcome screen it diverts to a black screen with a log in bar that reqs a
password and the only way to get around this is to pick options and choose a
restart. i havent set up any passwords for access and i use xp sp2.
 
How many Users do you have that use Passwords? That's the first
place to check.
 
Thanks for responding and in answer to your question there are four users but
none use passwords,I noticed something about my problem in help with a ref.to
a hotfix but this was to 1st xp and was to be rectified by service pack 2
