Logging off Vista Home Premium

I'm having the same issue. Except 'takes forever' is pushing it a bit. I'll
shutdown at night and come down in the morning to find that it still says
"Logging off...". Forever doesn't quite cover 8+ hours.

I've taken to giving it a couple of minutes (sometimes it does actually
manage it) and then just killing the power.

Running Vista Business 64.

Can anybody help? I just bought a new PC and it won't log off. Just keeps
showing the "logging off" window until I kill the power.
