Hi ... I just downloaded Office 2003 pro and now i notice
whenever i boot up my computer it boots into
Administrator , Now when i installed windows xp pro i was
the only administrator and i gave the computer a name ,
So why is there 2 computer
administrator ??? There the name that i choose when i
first installed windows and now this other one without
any name just administrator ... Is it because i
downloaded Business Contact Manager for office outlook
2003 which also install asp.net machine ??? Is this why
now when ever i boot up it log into administrator ??? I
thought when i installed windows that i was the only
administrator ??? Why can't i delete one of the 2
administrator account if i am amdinistrator ??? Basically
i just want when ever i boot up my computer it log into
my account and it just boots up without any password or
anything to do with logging into my account , i just want
it to boot up under my account ... What should i do ???
Delete BCM and asp.net ??? Will this fix my problem ???
Thanks

You can use the following steps to enable automatic logon:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type: control userpasswords2 , and then click OK.
3. In the dialog box that appears, clear the "Users must enter a user name
and password to use this computer" check box, and then click OK.

Hi ... I have try that but for some reason now it log me
in as administrator , this is not what i wanted and why
is it that this account was made ??? Because i am the
only user to my home computer which i gave the computer a
name and when it boots up it doesn't go into the name i
gave to my computer but yet in log into as just
administrator .... Enough thing why can't i delete this
administrator account if i am already one myself ??? Now
every time i boot up my computer i have to log off and
click the name that i gave my computer which is the
administrator account as well ....Please if you can
suggest what it is i can do to have my computer boot up
as me the administator and also just start up without any
password or clicking this or that , just starts up by
itself and opens up to my desktop on it own ??? Thanks

Okay now i believe i figure out why it was doing that
under the User accounts where you meantion that i run ,
Well when i remove the check mark on Users must enter a
user name and password and so on , okay just as i click
apply to that another window pop up ( Automatically Log
On ) In the User name section it had Administrator , Well
all i did was change that to the name i gave my computer
and now it boots up into my account , also that other
administrator account isn't no longer listed , it just
now has the name i gave to my computer and guest ... This
is what i want in the first place .....
