I just reinstalled Windows XP Pro on my machine and when I boot it up
it ask for a password, which I never use. In my previous installation
I did not have this. Can anyone tell me how to turn this off so I can
just boot up and get to work?

Thanks,
Jeff :)

Start | Run, type "control userpasswords2" Select the account you want
to logon to automatically. Then uncheck the box "Users must enter a
user name and password to use this computer."

Or do the same thing with TweakUI.

Hi Ken,

Thanks, that seems to have done the trick. Someone else suggested that
last week but it didn't work. Must have done something wrong.

Thanks,
Jeff
