I am the only user of this computer running XP Home. How do I get it to
stop asking me to click on my name every time I startup and go directly to
Windows?

Hi Bob,

Click start/run, type "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes) and
click ok. Uncheck the box requiring a username and password, click apply/ok
and follow the prompts to set up a default logon.

Hello Bob,

You can also get the PowerToy Tweak UI
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
It will do the same thing, and you will also be able to change some other
settings.
