log on screen

How do I stop windpws XP Pro going back to the log on screen every time the
PC is idle for a few minutes?

please advise

I have a very big icon on my desktop of gamesville & cant remove it . I would appricate any help i can get. thanks!!!! If you need to take controll of my computer thats fine.
 
Hi,

Checkpoints:

1. Right click the Desktop/Properties/Display/Customize Desktop/Web.
Uncheck it if listed.

2. Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\
CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace.
Delete the icon if listed.

can you also help with my question on the logon screen?

Right-click the desktop, Properties, Screen Saver tab, uncheck the box that
says "On resume, display Welcome screen" :-)
